Zack Snyder had some strong words for a critic who criticized the new ‘Justice League’ trailer.
Justice League director Zack Snyder recently fired back at a critic who tore into the trailer for the new version of the DC film.
While many fans and critics are excited to see what Zack Snyder’s original vision for Justice League, the director recently shot back at one journalist who heavily criticized the new trailer shortly after it leaked online. The recent DC FanDome panel offered new details about the film, including the specific plan to air it on HBO Max. But while some are excited for the film’s release, others aren’t quite sold on seeing another version of Justice League.
Forbes film critic Scott Mendelson took to Twitter to offer his thoughts on the Justice League trailer, pointing out that some of the footage still looks similar to the theatrical cut. Zack Snyder clearly wasn’t impressed with the opinion, even insulting Mendelson by insinuating he’s a child because Justice League is “made for grownups” and the critic isn’t “in the demographic.” Clearly, the director feels a little protective over the new cut. He also pointed out that Mendelson probably shouldn’t have commented on a leaked version of the trailer. Take a look below.
You said you enjoyed the theatrical cut of Justice League like you enjoy your Saturday morning cartoons… Well this is made for grownups, so you’re not in the demographic. Also, cool of you to comment on a leaked teaser. @ScottMendelson https://t.co/Zsu2O2oixb
