WarnerMedia Will Investigate ‘Justice League’ Abuse Allegations

WarnerMedia is taking Ray Fisher’s ‘Justice League’ allegations very seriously.

WarnerMedia has officially launched a third-party investigation into the production of Justice League over alleged workplace abuse that Cyborg star Ray Fisher revealed early this year.

WarnerMedia has had its hands full this week. Thanks to the upcoming DC FanDome event later this week and a huge about of news coming out, including the return of Ben Affleck as Batman for Ezra Miller’s The Flash film, the DC movie universe is at the center of many news stories. But there is at least one more story that highlights the shadier side of the business in regards to Justice League.

Earlier this year, Cyborg star Ray Fisher spoke out against Joss Whedon who supervised the reshoots during Justice League, alleging that the director was toxic and unprofessional on set and that his behavior was enabled by producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. Later on, he revealed that Geoff Johns threatened his career if he continued complaining about the conditions on the film. Now it appears that WarnerMedia is taking allegations very seriously.

Earlier today, Ray Fisher revealed that WarnerMedia, after interviewing cast and crew members for five weeks, is launching an independent investigation in just what went on during the Justice League reshoots:

I believe this investigation will show that Geoff Johns, Joss Whedon, Jon Berg (and others) grossly abused their power during the uncertainty of AT&T’s merger with Time Warner.

Thank you @WarnerMedia and @ATT for making strides to ensure a safer workplace for all!🙏🏽
