The ‘Hero Arm’ was Created by Open Bionics with Konami

The ‘Hero Arm’ prosthetic arm is a video game-inspired prosthetic created by Open Bionics with Konami as a functional piece of equipment for wearers above the age of eight. The arm draws design inspiration from that of the main protagonist of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and features a fully functioning design that would help to dramatically enhance the life of the user. The arm is manufactured using 3D printing techniques, and is capable of rotating 180-degrees and lifting up to eight kilograms of weight.

The ‘Hero Arm’ prosthetic arm is priced at £10,000 and can be used with one of two different clip-on covers that will dramatically enhance the look of the ultra-modern device.
