Tom Hardy Replaces Hugh Jackman As Wolverine In Incredible Photo

Wolverine and the Avengers, anyone?

A new image sees Tom Hardy step into the classic yellow Wolverine costume to replace Hugh Jackman in the role for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Now we now that discussions are ongoing at Marvel Studios on how to introduce the X-Men into the MCU, the excitement to see mutants next to the Avengers is at an all-time high. Wolverine is obviously one of the most famous X-heroes, partially thanks to Hugh Jackman’s performance during the Fox-era of X-Men movies. So the big question most Marvel fans have is who will Kevin Feige pick to play the Adamantium-clawed hero on the big screen? One of the most common suggestions is Venom himself, Tom Hardy.

A new image from ‘Mizuriau’ on Instagram shows off what Tom Hardy could look like in the classic Wolverine costume if he was to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Obviously replacing Hugh Jackman is no easy feat, but the armored costume imagined in the artistic design below would be great to see in live-action. Unfortunately Kevin Feige did confirm that the studio hasn’t started casting for Wolverine just yet, so it’ll be a while before anyone steps into Hugh Jackman’s shoes. In the meantime, take a look at Tom Hardy in the role below.

What do you make of the Wolverine design? Would you like to see Tom Hardy replace Hugh Jackman in the role for the MCU? Sound-off in the comments below!

Here is the official synopsis for Hugh Jackman’s Logan:

Directed by James Mangold, Logan stars Hugh Jackman, Sir Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, Eriq LaSalle, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Boyd Holbrook. The film is available on Digital HD, Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD.
