Should Timothee Chalamet become the next Boy Wonder?
Call Me by Your Name star Timothee Chalamet dons a tactical Robin suit in a new concept design for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman universe.
Now the initial excitement surrounding the first sneak peek at Robert Pattinson’s The Batman has subsided a little, fans have once again begun wondering if the project from filmmaker Matt Reeves will bring fresh versions of characters like Robin back to the big screen. A few names have been thrown around for potential actors to take on the sidekick role, like Aidan Gallagher and Timothee Chalamet. This era of Bruce Wayne will find the iconic DC Comics character in the second year of his war on crime and he’s already familiarized himself with the Gotham City Police Department, although the city’s inhabitants aren’t sure whether to praise or fear the vigilante.
This fan edit from a digital artist who goes by ‘savagecomics’ on Instagram shows Timothee Chalamet in a Robin suit which stylistically matches the outfit Robert Pattinson wears in The Batman. Although this tactical costume uses a dark green and red color scheme rather than the vibrant Robin suits in the comics. Timothee Chalamet’s Robin looks similar to the dark and gritty version of Dick Grayson fans have watched on the hit DC Comics drama Titans. You can see Chalamet as Robin for The Batman below.

Plot details for The Batman are being kept under lock and key, but we know that the project will revolve around Robert Pattinson as a younger Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector. The Batman will also feature the hero making use of his detective skills more than what we’ve seen before in previous iterations of the character. It is also expected to be the first installment to a new Batman trilogy with Pattinson.
Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, the film stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.
The Batman is currently scheduled to hit theaters on October 1, 2021. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news regarding Timothee Chalamet and Robert Pattinson’s The Batman universe, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content.
