Kingsman star Taron Egerton dons an incredible comic-accurate Wolverine suit to replace Hugh Jackman in an impressive new concept design.
While fans eagerly await news about how the X-Men and the Fantastic Four will arrive in the Marvel Cinematic Universe following Disney’s acquisition of Fox, a new design pictures fan-favorite Kingsman star Taron Egerton replacing Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The comic-accurate design gives Egerton the iconic cowl that fans only got a glimpse of during a deleted scene from The Wolverine. Director James Mangold confirmed that Hugh Jackman didn’t even get to wear the costume, which obviously disappointed most X-Men fans.
The new design comes from ‘bobby_art’ on Instagram, and gives Kingsman star Taron Egerton a tactical, comic-accurate Wolverine costume to replace Hugh Jackman in the role. The cowl features the icon pointed ears, which will no doubt instantly remind fans of both the comics and the legendary animated series. Jackman himself recently showed off a behind-the-scenes video of his Wolverine physique to celebrate X-Men’s 20th anniversary. The artist explained that he chose Egerton for his design since he’s “a good height and he has the acting range.” Take a look at the impressive design of the Kingsman star as Logan below.
