See Henry Cavill Step Into The Black Superman Suit For ‘Justice League’

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It’s Superman (in the black suit)!

Henry Cavill steps into the impressive black Superman costume in a new concept design for Justice League.

After the rumors of the black Superman costume in Justice League began to swirl, fans were desperate to see Henry Cavill wear the iconic suit from the classic Death of Superman storyline written by Dan Jurgens and editor Mike Carlin. The story saw the hero tragically die at the hands of Doomsday, only to be revived later on in the aftermath of a number of other heroes trying to take up the Superman mantle. After Henry Cavill’s Superman died at the end of Batman v Superman, many fans hoped Justice League would put him in the costume, although it didn’t end up happening in the theatrical cut.

However now that Zack Snyder is getting the chance to show off his original version of the film on HBO Max,  we’ll finally get to see Henry Cavill don the black Superman costume. The director even shared a brief clip of the iconic suit with fans. A new design from jscomicart on Instagram offers a high quality look at what the costume will look like on the big screen, showing off the silver highlights built into the suit. Take a look at Henry Cavill’s Superman in the black costume below.

What do you make of Henry Cavill wearing the iconic design? Are you excited to see Justice League when it arrives on HBO Max next year? Sound-off in the comments below!

But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
