PUBG Mobile Season 14, called ‘Spark the Flame’, is well underway, and players can unlock a fabulous array of newly-themed multi-form gear skins. Season 14 began on July 14, but when will it end and what does it include?

If you weren’t already aware, PUBG Mobile is the official spin-off to the survival game PlayerUnknown’s Battleground, and in many ways, the mobile version of PUBG has eclipsed its bigger brother in a number of aspects, particularly revenue. It was the highest grossing game in May 2020, making a whopping $226 million for PUBG’s parent company, Tencent.

PUBG Mobile is pretty popular, then, and by delivering a regular stream of updates, new seasonal content and gameplay modes for its player base, it won’t be losing steam anytime soon. Here’s what you need to know about PUBG Mobile Season 14.

When does PUBG Mobile Season 14 end?

PUBG Mobile Season 14 began on July 14, and is available from both the App Store and Google Play.  Season 14 is likely to end on September 13, so make sure you drop in and earn as many rewards as you can.

Android users can access PUBG Mobile’s new royale pass Prime subscription service, and enjoy exclusive Prime-only player benefits. Players can choose between Prime and Prime Plus, along with monthly, quarterly and yearly subscription options.

If you do subscribe, you can get 300 or 900 royale pass vouchers each month, get access to Prime-exclusive Airplane Ranking display perks, and enjoy miscellaneous redemption discounts.

When does PUBG Mobile Season 15 start?

PUBG Mobile Season 15 should start on September 15, a few days after Season 14 ends. It’s likely we’ll see many new unlockables and the updated Erangel map should feature prominently.

What does PUBG Mobile Season 14 include?

The new theme revolves around ‘Spark the flame’, and welcomes the return of the Roaring Dragon sets and Dragon Hunter-themed rewards that first featured in the royale pass for Season 5.

The royale pass also includes new cosmetic items, like character skins, emotes and Unknown Cash (PUBG Mobile’s in-game currency) to unlock, which can be put towards the next royale pass.

When is the PUBG Mobile Erangel map update is coming?

An update to the classic Erangel map is coming to PUBG Mobile on September 8. All-new map elements will be included, such as trenches, tree-trunk barriers and bunkers, and revamped visuals will bring the battlefield to life like never before.

If you’ve got a powerful smartphone, you can also take advantage of the “Ultra HD” function, which unlocks the highest graphic quality for the game.

New Livik map added

PUBG Mobile received a sizable new update which has added an all-new battle royale map. The new map is called Livik, a two-by-two kilometer Nordic-themed island that is perfect for those who enjoy fast-paced action.

Livik also introduces new map-exclusive gear and vehicles, such as the Mk12 marksman rifle, P90 sub-machinegun and a monster truck vehicle. The map will continually be updated over time, but even in its early form, it’s certainly an exciting addition to PUBG Mobile.

Content update 0.19.0 has also added the Barrel Extender muzzle attachment, which increases a firearm’s range and reduces any damage reduction that occurs due to distance; improved Cheer Park, where 20 players can interact in real-time; and implemented a bunch of basic combat balances, as well as various miscellaneous improvements.

How much is the PUBG Mobile Season 14 royale pass?

Like most battle pass systems, PUBG Mobile’s royale pass is free, but if you want to unlock premium items you’ll need to stump up some cash. The free pass will also top out at rank 60, so bear that in mind.

The royale pass in PUBG Mobile costs 600 UC ($9.99 / £9.99), and grants you access to better rewards and the opportunity to rank up faster via elite missions. If you want to go all out, the Elite Pass Plus usually costs 1800 UC ($29.99 / £29.99) but it gives you 25 ranks for free and includes some unique reward items.
