The interactive animated shorts will serve as a tie-in to Batman: Under the Red Hood with several cast members returning!
DC has released the first trailer for their upcoming interactive Batman: Death in the Family movie.
Batman: Under the Red Hood is highly regarded as one of the best DC animated films and recently celebrated its tenth anniversary. DC has now announced that they will be revisiting the beloved animated film in the form of an interactive story inspired by the iconic Death in the Family storyline from the late Dennis O’Neil that famously killed Jason Todd.
The upcoming animated film will have an interactive feature like Black Mirror: Bandersnatch that will let viewers choose whether they want to see Robin cheat death, have him die, or allow for Batman to rescue him. Of course, this is a clever callback to when the comic book first came out in the ’80s and fans called a 1-900 number to vote on the fate of Jason Todd. IGN exclusively released the trailer for Batman: Death in the Family that teases the different outcomes that will feature Jason Todd as Hush, Red Robin, and Red Hood. You can watch the first trailer for the upcoming interactive feature below.
