As awards go, Sexiest Man Alive is a pretty good one to win.
Michael B Jordan wowed audiences in Black Panther as Killmonger and he’s now been crowned the Sexiest Man Alive.
People has named Michael B Jordan as the Sexiest Man Alive for 2020 ahead of his role in Tom Clancy’s Without Revenge, which sees him re-team with Fantastic Four co-star Jamie Bell. As well as appearing in Black Panther alongside the late Chadwick Boseman, Jordan is also well-known for appearing in Ryan Coogler’s incredible Rocky follow-up, Creed. In recent news, it was announced the actor is producing DC’s Static Shock.
With his numerous enigmatic and powerful roles, it’s unsurprising that People gave the title to Michael B Jordan. Given how much fans love him, it’s also no surprise that he’s a frequent suggestion for the next person to play Superman on the big screen. But when speaking to the publication, the Black Panther star joked that this was an award he’d “probably not” win, but he was clearly grateful for the award.
“It’s a cool feeling. You know, everybody always made that joke, like, ‘Mike, this is the one thing you’re probably not going to get.’ But it’s a good club to be a part of.”
Do you agree with Michael B Jordan’s new title? What did you think of his role as Killmonger? Should the star become the next Superman? Sound-off in the comments below!
